City of Heroes: Homecoming is a City of Heroes server that has been officially licensed by NCSoft, where you can find thousands of players. The original game, released in 2004, stopped receiving updates in 2012. This version of the game, however, officially maintained by the Homecoming Servers team, allows you to keep playing online within a huge superhero community.

Create your account and start playing

To play City of Heroes: Homecoming, the first thing you need to do is register on the official forum. Doing so is easy: just enter your date of birth, a name, an email address, and a password. After verifying your email address, you can create the game account. This step is very important. You have to create the Forum Account first and then the Game Account. For this second account you just need to enter your profile name and a new password.

A number of servers to choose from

The first thing you should do before you start playing the game is to choose a good server. Most servers are in English, so if you are comfortable with that then you will have no problem communicating with other players. However, some servers are in other languages, and there are even some VIP servers. Create a unique superhero

After creating your character, you can start playing. Playing the tutorial, whether it is the first time you are playing City of Heroes: Homecoming or if you played a few hours of the original title in the past, is highly recommended as there are a number of changes and many new concepts to learn.
